A very dear friend of mine once told me that life is messy, but amazing. Hidden in the chaos of everyday craziness are those magical moments. The ones that we barely recognize until they’re gone. I saw this piece by Katrina Kenison several years ago, long before I had actually seen my oldest child successfully launched from the proverbial nest. When I find myself struggling to understand my evolving role as a mother, I remember this video and I thank God for my “ordinary days.”
